What issues can be solved by dental veneers?
Watch a short explanatory video in which Dr. Uriel Avidan, the medical director of the Estetic Medical Center, discusses dental veneers.
Restoring broken teeth
One or more teeth can fracture, which is a common and well-known phenomenon. In accidents and falls, teeth break as a result of a strong blow to the face area.
As a result of their active lifestyles, children, teenagers, and young adults tend to come to the clinic with broken teeth more frequently than the rest of the population.
There are several ways to repair a broken tooth, including porcelain veneers, composite veneers, or porcelain crowns.
Getting a consultation with the dentist and undergoing an examination as soon as possible is important, so the dentist can recommend the most appropriate treatment.

Filling a gap in the front teeth
In most cases, space between front teeth is not a health concern. There are several ways to close a gap for aesthetic reasons:
-
Orthodontic treatment – closing the gap between the teeth. Orthodontists will know which type of treatment is appropriate, such as transparent alignment or dental bridges.
-
Installation of a zirconia crown – in cases where slidability is not possible (the arch of the teeth does not allow closing gaps without opening others between other teeth), and the gap is considerable, it may be recommended that the natural tooth be replaced with a zirconia crown.
-
Porcelain or composite veneers – Veneers are a quick and aesthetic way to close gaps between teeth.
